As she counts down the days until the May 23 release of her new album, Lady Gaga is on "The Edge of Glory." The Mother Monster confirmed that she is set to drop the new song, the third track off of Born This Way, on Monday afternoon.

After radio stations touted the news last week, Gaga made the announcement on her Twitter account on Sunday morning. "My song THE EDGE OF GLORY will be released on itunes tomorrow to begin the countdown to album release! You want to see #TheEdgeSingleCover?" she wrote.

She then posted an image of herself nude, with her mouth open, her "Born This Way" cheek horns in place and her hair wildly cascading around her. "Out tomorrow 1pm PDT," she added in the caption. "Another shot before we kiss the other side. I'm on the edge of something final we call life."

Fans are finally getting to hear the track that Gaga teased them with in January, when she released a few lyrics to the song. "I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm counting on a moment of truth," she tweeted at the time. "I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm counting on a moment with you."

Weeks later, during a listening event, Rolling Stone went on to describe "The Edge of Glory" as "a massive power ballad with heavy club beats" that also contains "an element of cheesiness" and an '80s "stadium rock vibe."

Gaga is gearing up for the release of her album, which drops in three weeks. Just last week, she premiered the video for her single "Judas," which co-director Laurieann Gibson says perfectly sums up her and Gaga's artistic vision.

"It's the beginning of another journey," Gibson offered about the video's place in Gaga's artistic evolution. "I think it's the start of a more powerful and effortless execution and design of a girl with a huge destiny."
