I heard of Yellow Ostrich for the first time a few days ago, and I absolutely LOVE them. The band is from Brooklyn and was formed by Alex Schaaf and Michael Tapper, and just recently became a three piece with the addition of Jon Natchez (who previously played horns for the band Beirut). I haven?t had the chance to listen to the new album in its entirety, but what I have heard so far is great. I love the simplicity and blatancy of the music, and the vocals are super fun.
