The invitation to the wedding of the century has finally arrived: "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" teaser trailer is here!
It's everything the fans have wanted and more. There are steamy love scenes between Edward and Bella, a tease of the highly anticipated wedding scene and even a first glimpse of Bella's baby bump.
The trailer opens with a surprise return to Volterra, as the Volturi are the first to receive an invitation to Bella and Edward's wedding. Aro (Michael Sheen) looked pleasantly surprised as Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower) and Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl) sit in the background.
Bella's mother, Renée (Sarah Clarke), looks a lot happier to receive the official invitation to her daughter's wedding than her father, Charlie (Billy Burke), does, but no one is more upset by the impending nuptials than Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). After throwing the card to the muddy ground, Jacob takes off into the rainy La Push field and lets his rage loose as he turns into a wolf.
The wedding sequence lives up to our anticipation since the tease we received of it earlier this week. The reveal of Bella as a blushing bride is something we have been dying to see since "Breaking Dawn" was released in 2008.
But what we're most excited to talk about? Two words: broken headboard. Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward's honeymoon gets hot and heavy in the book, and fans have been demanding to see something hinting as much. And as a bonus, we get to see a bit of their marital bliss below a waterfall on Isle Esme.
Of course, that bliss doesn't last long. The trailer then cuts to a tease of a fight between Bella and Edward as well as a look at a newly pregnant Bella.
"That's impossible," she whispers, right before her stomach convulses with the first kick from her rapidly growing unborn child. The terrified look on Edward's and Bella's faces should sum that scene up for everyone.
